When we email new business' to sponsor our event I love getting responses like "We would love to sponsor your initiative" or "Yes, we will sponsor your event." However when I get "What a wonderful opportunity! It sounds like you have your hands full with a great educational event" or "We would love to be involved in this event. As a momma of 7 year old twins and an 11 month that is breastfed, this is something that is close to my heart" it makes me so proud to have such supportive sponsors!

I am so happy I could be a part of designing BOOB's new logo! When Shawna contacted me asking if I would like to be a sponsor for the event, I was excited to say the least! I think it is very important we support breastfeeding moms as much as we can. As a nursing mom myself I know how challenging it can be for both mom and baby to learn to nurse, let alone trying to do it in public, with a blanket over your baby's head. If breastfeeding can be normalized like it is in so many other countries, maybe more moms will not feel so self-conscious about doing something so natural. I am looking forward to the upcoming event and can't wait to see this initiative spread across Ontario.
